For those customers that need fingerprints for “out of state” agencies and for FBI background checks for Immigration, we are able to provide the customer with fingerprint cards. These fingerprints are taken digitally on our livescan machine and then printed onto the FD258 or FS87 fingerprint cards. We can either provide the fingerprint cards to the customer (FD258 only) or we can utilize the cards the customer provides from their agency. We print the customers demographic information on the card at the same time as the fingerprints. This allows a more streamlined and efficient process, as well as the information being more legible. We utilize an FBI certified printer to print high resolution fingerprints onto the standard FBI fingerprint card. This method is authorized by the FBI due to the tracking information that is printed on the card, which can be traced back to the printer and scanner used to capture the fingerprints. Fingerprint cards can only be used for either out of state agencies or for requesting an FBI background check directly from the FBI. You can not utilize this method of processing for any State of Maryland request, unless you live in another state and have the fingerprints processed in that state. Any fingerprints that are taken in Maryland, and are for a Maryland agency, must be processed using the livescan submission. The cost of fingerprinting on fingerprint cards vary per location. Please see pricing lists in the menu for the location you wish to be fingerprinted. We do not sell fingerprint cards to be used at another location, or to be completed at a later time. We only provide fingerprint cards to customers that purchase our services, and the cards must be completed in full, before the customer leaves the office.
